Damascus Kiritsuke / Sujihiki + Oregon Green Pine + African Paduak

$200.00

230mm Thin Kiritsuke — VG-10 Core Stainless Damascus, Kurouchi Blacksmith Finish

A refined balance of surgical performance and rustic character. This 230mm kiritsuke features a VG-10 core wrapped in stainless Damascus, cold-forged and finished with a kurouchi blacksmith patina that preserves the primal texture of the forge while protecting the edge where it matters most. The blade’s thin profile and subtle taper deliver effortless slicing and razor-like control for precision work — from delicate vegetable cuts to clean, confident fillets.

Handled in stabilized Oregon green pine with a striking red African padauk inlay, the grip marries natural beauty with workshop durability. The wood has been stabilized to resist moisture and movement, while the padauk accent adds vivid contrast and visual rhythm. Note: during final shaping a small cosmetic imperfection occurred where the tang hole exposed a bit of black epoxy beneath the surface. It’s purely cosmetic and does not affect structural integrity or balance; the handle remains solid, comfortable, and fully functional.

One-of-a-kind, purpose-built, and ready for a world stage where craftsmanship and utility meet.
